Topics of Expertise
Jessica Alexander is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families navigating substance use, anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, and complex relationship and family dynamics. She is particularly known for her work with clients in early recovery, helping them navigate this critical stage with structure, accountability, and clear, actionable strategies for lasting change.
Jessica brings many years of leadership experience as the Clinical Director of an outpatient substance use program, where she developed advanced clinical insight into how addiction impacts both the individual and the family system. Her work often focuses on relapse prevention, emotional regulation, communication, boundary setting, navigating high-risk situations, and rebuilding trust within relationships. She also thoughtfully integrates 12-step principles from a therapeutic lens when aligned with client goals.
Known for her direct yet supportive style, Jessica creates a space that is both compassionate and results-oriented. She partners closely with clients to challenge unhelpful patterns, strengthen self-awareness, and develop healthier, more effective ways of relating to themselves and others.
Jessica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Kennesaw State University and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University. She is licensed to serve clients in person and virtually in Georgia and virtually in Tennessee.
